Adult Choir
Our Adult Choir is open to anyone from 11th Grade to “in school at heart.” Our goal is to become a 4-part choir and to lead people in sung worship of Jesus. Will you help us reach our goal?
Our rehearsals are every Tuesday at 7 p.m. and we sing for the 9 a.m. Mass. Our season is from September to Pentecost Sunday.

Youth Choir
Guardian Angels Youth Choir is open to all young parishioners in grades 4-10. The Youth Choir Sings once a month for the 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday, with rehearsal starting at 3 p.m. the same day. They also sing for the 4:00 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass.
9th and 10th Graders may unlock two optional special privileges:
- Cantor Training.
- Playing their band/orchestra instrument in an instrumentalist role during Mass.
Both special privileges require picking up music ahead of time and practicing on their own time before rehearsal.

Cantors
Cantors are people who lead the congregation in sung worship. They are often in front of church. Being able to read music is not required, but it is recommended. Cantors will also need time during the week to learn their music before attending rehearsal.
To become a cantor, schedule an audition with Brittany Kaufmann (bkaufmann@gachaska.org).
Accompanist on Piano or Organ
If you can accompany on the piano, we need you! Our accompanists play for our Masses in English and are scheduled on Ministry Scheduler Pro. Some are also sent to our sister parish, Saint Nicholas. Accompanist is a paid position.
At this time, our organ is very limited in what it can play.

Instrumentalist
Instrumentalists add more depth to the music during Mass and is a loved addition here at Guardian Angels. Instrumentalists are musicians who play an instrument other than piano or organ that play with the accompanist and the singers present. In the past we have had guitarists, flautists, clarinetists, cellists, and more. We like variety here, so don’t feel like your instrument disqualifies you from playing for the Mass. We are called to praise God with all our gifts!

Other Offerings
Guardian Angels used to have two bell choirs, one for people who can read music, and one called “Little Ringers” for Pre-K children. If you are interested in either of those offerings, please contact Brittany Kaufmann at bkaufmann@gachaska.org or (763) 355-6905.
