We are pleased to announce that we will be celebrating Mass this Sunday, May 10, 10:30 AM, in the parking lot of the Chaska VFW Post 1791, 620 Creek Rd., Chaska. This is the same site as last Sunday’s drive-up Mass. We will broadcast audio of the Mass on 91.9 FM. We have also loaded the lyrics for the Mass music on this website, see below. Please open this page Sunday morning when you get to the parking lot as we welcome you to sing as at regular Mass.

Entrance: Glory and Praise to Our God

Refrain: Glory and praise to our God, who alone gives light to our days.

              Many are the blessings he bears to those who trust in his ways.

Verses:  We, the daughters and sons of him who built the valleys and plains,

              Praise the wonders our God has done in ev’ry heart that sings. (refrain)

             Ev’ry moment of ev’ry day our God is waiting to save,

             Always ready to seek the lost, to answer those who pray. (refrain)

  1. 118: Let Us Rejoice (common psalm for Easter)

Refrain: Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! – Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Preparation of the Gifts: Eye Has Not Seen

Refrain: Eye has not seen, ear has not heard,

             What God has ready for those who love him;

             Spirit of love, come give us the mind of Jesus,

             Teach us the wisdom of God.

Verses: When pain and sorrow weigh us down, be near to us, O Lord,

             Forgive the weakness of our faith, and bear us up within your peaceful word. (refrain)

             Our lives are but a single breath, we flower and we fade,

             Yet all our days are in your hands, so we return in love what love has made. (refrain)

Communion: Let Us Be Bread

Refrain: Let us be bread, blessed by the Lord,

             Broken and shared, life for the world.

             Let us be wine, love freely poured,

             Let us be one in the Lord.

Verses: You are my friends if you keep my commands,

             No longer servants but friends. (refrain)

             As God has loved me so I have loved you.

             Go and live on in my love. (refrain)

Recessional: I Know That My Redeemer Lives

I know that my Redeemer lives, what joy the blest assurance gives!

He lives, he lives, that once was dead, He lives, my everlasting Head!

He lives, and grants me daily breath; He lives, and I shall conquer death;

He lives, mu mansion to prepare; He lives, to bring me safely there.
