Bell Tower Repair Update: Scaffolding Installation Complete

The scaffolding installation for the repair of the bell tower was completed on time.  The scaffolding is scheduled to be up until mid to end of July.  During this time Patrick Seiben, of Solid Restoration and Masonry, will be grinding out the old joint mortar and replacing 1,600 to 2,000 bricks.  For more details on why the bell tower needs repair click here.  Additional bell tower and steeple projects will be completed while the scaffolding is in place. How to enter the church while the scaffolding is in place:

  • During the week the main entrance to the church will not be accessible.  Please enter through the side handicap entrance (located in the alley).
  • During the weekend, the main entrance will be available for use.

Fun Fact:  One must climb 122 steps to get to the top of the scaffolding.
