Welcome to Music Ministry!

Do you like to sing or play an instrument? Then you have come to the right place! Here at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, we do our best to provide people of all ages with the opportunity to share their musical talents with the entire community and to praise God in song!

There are five very active groups in which you can get involved:

Sanctuary Choir – Primary adult choir which sings regularly at the 10 am Sunday Mass.

Festival Choir – Seasonal choir which provides music for Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter.

Spanish Choir – Primary adult choir which sings at the Noon Sunday Spanish Mass.

Are you looking to become a Cantor or Instrumentalist? New talent is always welcome!

Want to get involved but you don’t think you’re musically inclined? Come anyways! We work with all of our musicians to prepare them for their roles as psalmists and leaders.

If administration is more your style, we can always use extra hands in the office! Our office ministry is a behind the scenes ministry that supports our musicians by using their talents for organization. We simply cannot function properly without them!

To learn more about each Music Ministry contact the Coordinator of Music and Liturgy, Mike Mullins at mmullins@gachaska.org or 952-227-4004 for more information.

The single most important role of music in the liturgy, then, is to help us surrender to the paschal mystery as it unfolds within the rite.       Kathleen Harmon S.N.D. de N., Ph.D.
